Celestron Starsense Explorer DX Dovetail / Finder Shoe Adapter

Adapter to convert your Starsense Explorer DX to a universal finderscope dovetail foot. Dovetail size is a standard Synta 32mm, check your finderscope holder to make sure this will fit. Remove the orange cap from your DX unit and place it on this adapter with the 3 included screws. Then, you can attach your SSE cradle to the OEM cap and mount on any scope. Do note that the fit between the OEM cradle and cap with the locking pin is tight and isn't as easy to remove as it should be. This adapter doesn't affect the fit between the 2 parts in any way.
