• Compatibility Note for EdgeHD Models: This corrector plate is physically compatible and can be installed in Celestron EdgeHD telescopes of the same aperture (6", 8", 9.25", 11", 14"). It will allow the telescope to function.

  •  (Important Notice): When used on an EdgeHD telescope, the advanced optical performance of the original EdgeHD optical system cannot be guaranteed. The specialized coma-free, flat-field EdgeHD design relies on the precise matching of all optical elements, including its proprietary corrector plate. Replacement with this standard corrector plate may result in reduced field flatness and the potential re-introduction of coma at the edges of the field compared to the original EdgeHD configuration. It is considered a functional replacement, not a performance-equivalent one.

• Intended Use: Ideal for replacing a damaged, scratched, or de-coated corrector plate on a standard Celestron SCT to restore it to original factory optical performance. For EdgeHD models, it serves as a functional replacement part when the original is damaged, with the aforementioned performance consideration.
